The South African author Deborah Levy, who now lives in London, is one of the most distinguished authors of her generation – and not only for that reason has long been a desired guest of the Li-Be. After her novels „A House of One’s Own“ (Hoffmann & Campe 2021), „The Man Who Saw Everything“ (Kampa 2020) and „What Life Costs“ (Hoffmann & Campe 2019), her debut novel „Beautiful Mutants“ from 1986 has now been published in German for the first time.
