»Werde ich noch einmal meine Haare mit Wind kämmen?«, so fragt Forugh Farochzzad, eine der wichtigsten Dichterinnen der iranischen Moderne, die bis heute iranische Künstler:innen inspiriert. Seit der Islamischen Revolution von 1979 können sich diese nur unter Inkaufnahme von Zensur und Gefängnisstrafen im Iran gesellschaftskritisch äußern, sie arbeiten im Untergrund oder gehen ins Exil.

In der vierten Ausgabe von The Poetry Project on LTV tragen Razia Karimi und Tayebah Joya ihre Gedichte »همین جایم من« (»Ich bin hier«) und »تو« (»Du«) vor.

Die Schauspielerin Selin Dörtkardeş liest die deutsche Übersetzung.
